A Letter From the Artistic Director
Dear Friends,
Opera Lafayette’s staging and modern premiere of Les Fêtes de Thalie is the culmination and the close of our 29th season at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
More than ever, we rely on the support of our individual patrons to carry out our mission. Those of you who enjoy the thrill of discovery and the joy and spontaneity of our live performances sustain Opera Lafayette through your investment in our work.
As we plan our 30th anniversary season and the transition to the Artistic leadership of my colleague and successor, Patrick Dupre Quigley, I hope you will consider a special season end contribution to Opera Lafayette to ensure our continued success.
In the meantime, enjoy this extraordinary production of Les Fêtes de Thalie, the fruit of many years of planning and preparation, and an occasion for celebration!
With warm wishes,
Ryan Brown, Artistic Director of Opera Lafayette
