Celebrating 47th Kennedy Center Honoree Francis Ford Coppola
Millennium Stage presents a special series of free film screenings to celebrate the legendary artists recognized this year as Kennedy Center Honorees. Join us Sundays in the REACH and enjoy a collection of iconic films that highlight the Honorees’ remarkable legacies and overwhelming impact on our artistic and truth-seeking ideals.
Peggy Sue Bodell (Kathleen Turner) attends her 25-year high school reunion after separating from her cheating husband, Charlie (Nicolas Cage). She regrets the decisions she has made in her life, such as getting pregnant by Charlie in high school. When she faints at the reunion, she awakens in 1960. Given the chance to relive her life, she changes many things. However, some choices are more complicated, as she begins to see young Charlie’s charm and true feelings.
Please Note: Patrons who make advanced reservations can pick up their tickets at the REACH Box Office on the day of the film beginning 1 hour prior to performance time. Patrons need to either print the email confirmation at home and present it to the REACH Box Office, or show the email confirmation at the REACH Box Office on their “smart device.” Tickets that have not been claimed by 15 minutes prior to the start of the film will be released and distributed to a stand-by line.
This is a first come-first serve event; a reservation confirmation does not guarantee you a ticket to the film. Please arrive early to exchange your email confirmation at the REACH Box Office for a ticket to be seated in the Justice Forum.
