Jennifer Koh and Missy Mazzoli join forces for an elegant—yet challenging—performance. Collaborating for over a decade, the violin-piano duo will perform a full evening of Mazzoli’s works. Last seen at the Kennedy Center together in 2022, Koh premiered Mazzoli’s powerful, renewing violin concerto Procession with the National Symphony Orchestra. Koh’s commanding performances combined with Mazzoli’s profound compositions and musicianship promise a mesmerizing evening in the intimate, cabaret-style lounge of the Club at Studio K.

A NOTE FROM ARTISTIC DIRECTOR JENNIFER KOH
Missy Mizzoli and I have been working together for over 10 years now. This program is about respect, love, and admiration between two artists and celebrating that longtime friendship and musical collaboration. There is something really beautiful in seeing how we support each other as artists and get to watch each other grow. The pieces Missy writes for me have become more and more tailored to my style over the years as she has come to know me better as a person and a performer. Audiences will also get to see the evolution of us as musicians on full display.
