Participants will be immersed in a healing listening experience, followed by an interactive demonstration where they are welcome to use their voices and percussion instruments for creativity and communal healing through sound. No prior music training required!

AZA Allsop, MD, PhD is a neofusion artist, neuroscientist, and psychiatrist who conducts research at the intersection of social cognition, music mindfulness, and psychedelics. The AZA Laboratory is guided by the belief that decoding these tools will provide a better understanding of how social groups function, and offer insights into treating mental suffering and enhancing the evolution of society at large.

Join us for Sound Health Fridays at The REACH for activities prior to 11:30 a.m. NSO coffee concerts. Arrive at 9:30 a.m. and purchase coffee at the Hyannis Port Coffee Bar, and wander the REACH. At 10 a.m., participate in a Morning Sing, attend a health-inspired talk and performance, or join a wellness-inspired workshop.
