Celebrating Ujima and Educators: Collective Work and Responsibility

Enjoy an amazing family day of music, performances, an African marketplace, authors, and books! Seven authors will present their books focusing on African American History, family, and mental health. We will be graced with a libation ceremony and a dance performance by Nana Malaya Rucker, “The Dancing Diplomat.”

Studio Saturdays Intro to Digital Design

Illustrate imagination with the design app Procreate and give life to your big ideas! Learn the basics of digital design and create your own GIF. Moonshot will lend iPads and Apple Pencils for the duration of the class, but feel free to bring your own tablet preloaded with the app. 12:30 p.m. class for kids ages 8–10 and their adults, 3 p.m. class for ages 11–14 and their adults.

Join us for Sound Health Fridays at The REACH for activities prior to 11:30 a.m. NSO coffee concerts. Arrive at 9:30 a.m. and purchase coffee at the Hyannis Port Coffee Bar, and wander the REACH. At 10 a.m., participate in a Morning Sing, attend a health-inspired talk and performance, or join a wellness-inspired workshop.

The Guitar Renegades are a guitar quintet comprised of Cristian Perez (founder/leader), Connor Holdridge, Jan Knutson, Parker Spears, and Tommy Holladay. Although they’re all jazz guitarists at heart, they venture into repertoire as diverse as Bach, Simon & Garfunkel, and more.
