The choir program includes historical Duma, Cossack and Chumak songs and dances, humorous choral scenes, domestic, ritual lyrics – songs and dances performed at the harvest festivals, weddings, and Christmas carols, shchedrivkas.

At first from 1996 on the 80th anniversary ensemble after Grigoriy Veryovka came back to the John F. Kennedy Performing Arts Center! G. Veryovka Ukrainian National Honoured Academic Folk Choir is a unique performance ensemble, that represents all the best from the inexhaustible source of folk art from all ethnographic regions of Ukraine their perfect art, will open a new chapter of Ukraine's history for the world. Our mission is to express gratitude to all American people who from the first day of the war supported the Ukrainians and fight for democratic values and freedom together.
