Hamilton de Holanda is a Brazilian bandolinist (a bandolin is a Brazilian mandolin) and three-time Latin Grammy Award winner. Chris Potter is an American jazz saxophonist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. Choro music and jazz have merged to create a fascinating blend of Brazilian and American musical traditions, leading to innovative collaborations, cross-cultural exchanges, and novel styles. Both genres have been enriched by this fusion, a testament to the versatility and adaptability of musicians from different backgrounds.
