Event rentals at the REACH offer a wide range of room capacities, multi-functional spaces, state of the art technology, and a variety of amenities. Additional costs will apply for auxiliary services, AV, and catering. The pricing listed below is for a one-day venue rental only. Any event starting prior to 12:00pm may require an additional rental day for load in. Pricing subject to change.

A great location for special events, receptions, or seated dinners, this space can serve as a public atrium and a great place to view the Potomac during the day. Acoustic plaster ceilings and walls, end grain wooden floor, and multiple glass skylights, offer an experience for lasting memories at the REACH.

Intimate lecture hall with capacity for film screenings, panel discussions, presentations, and small ensembles. Seats have a tablet arm for note-taking, large projector screen, and projector to provide audio visual at every location within the space. With cherry wood ceiling, acoustic crinkle natural grey concrete walls, wooden floors, the space is made to capture the presentation style setting.

Frosted glass is along the entry wall into the space, and can be easily accessible from our main entrance through the Welcome Pavilion.

With windows and natural light, shades can be drawn to limit the view into the space. Studio J is complete with a permanent Marley sprung floor, screen, projector, and audio playback system.

The largest multi-purpose room with a viewing balcony containing loose seating, to allow for observation. The space can be used for a variety of events, performances, rehearsals, and conference style theater or break out sessions. The space can be made dark with the use of curtains located on all four walls, including a permanent lighting, audio, and video system. The distinctive cerulean blue stained concrete ceiling, acoustic crinkle natural grey concrete walls, and dark stained wooden floor provide a space that can be transformed and used for any occasion.

All Studio K rentals containing food and beverage must include a rental of an additional venue for use as an auxiliary kitchen.

River Pavilion

This flexible interior and exterior space is located along the south end of the Kennedy Center’s campus. This space offers brilliant views of the Potomac River and new pedestrian bridge across Rock Creek Parkway. A wall of windows facing both east and west offer a bright and warm space season round. To the West, the view of the Potomac River, and to the East, the view of the south Reflecting Pool and Presidential Grove of Ginkgo trees.
