NSO In Your Neighborhood 2022: East of the River

The National Symphony Orchestra was thrilled to present In Your Neighborhood in September 2022! We are incredibly grateful to our partners who invited us into their spaces and welcomed us into the community, the NSO musicians and guest collaborators who brought the joy of live music to audiences, and our supporters across the city who helped make this program possible.
From September 16–25, the NSO presented a week full of dynamic chamber and full orchestra concerts in collaboration with 19 venues in the neighborhoods east of the Potomac river. This year, based on community feedback, programming focused on reflecting the art already being made in the community, promoting wellness and access to food, and providing access for youth. Performing in both indoor and outdoor venues, the NSO was able to safely gather audiences in intimate settings, open-air stages, parks and historic locations.
