Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts joins forces with Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation and Baltimore, Maryland's Creative Alliance to present 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝟏𝟎𝟏: 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐤 & 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, examining how rock and roll moved from its Blues beginnings to the present day—while in many ways alienating the Black artists who founded it—featuring Baltimore musician, lead performer, and curator Jonathan Gilmore and the Baltimore Rock Opera Society.
