Tim White has served as Principal Trumpet of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra for more than twenty years. He holds a master’s degree from the Juilliard School where he was the recipient of the Billy Strayhorn Performance Scholarship.
Tim enjoys playing with a number of local orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Alexandria, Annapolis and Harrisburg Symphonies. As a chamber musician, he is a charter member of the Washington Symphonic Brass and has been a member/manager of the Constellation Brass Quintet, the Baltimore Chamber Brass and the Bel Air Arts Trio. With so many musical venues in town from the Wolf Trap Barns to the Verizon Center, Mr. White enjoys a wide variety of music making.
