Paul Willis
Paul Willis is a hip hop and spoken word artist and a Sacramento-based diversity, equity and inclusion consultant whose client list includes business, nonprofit and government agencies such as Public Advocates - a nonprofit law firm, MetroEdge - the Metro Chamber of Commerce's young professional group, the City of Sacramento's Youth, Parks and Community Enrichment department, EdSource and the Sacramento Bee. His 15 year professional career in the arts, education, leadership development and social justice driven organizations has provided Paul a unique lens to see the world and shape it.
Paul serves on the executive board at Sol Collective – a nonprofit community center focused on art, culture and activism – and as a board member for the Rebel Ventures Network – a nonprofit that centers youth personal and professional development through individualized project incubation and peer support networks. He is the founder of the Hip-Hop Chess club in Sacramento. Paul’s values include Hip-Hop, Education, Social Justice and Building Community.
