Sheldon “YOSHELLZ” Silvers, a self-made entrepreneur/artist from Washington, D.C. started his journey dancing at age 8. Growing up in many different dance communities in the DMV area has impacted his diversity as a dancer. With his early strong knowledge in foundational hip hop (I.E Krumping, Animation, Tutting, Popping, Waving, etc.), he was later able to fuse his training in basic ballet and contemporary to create his own unique style of movement. Being exposed to so many different dance communities led him to create his own dance events such as ShellShock DC and The Release project, which impacts the DMV AREA and the world through social media. He is also known as the Prince of a foundational Footwork style called “Beat Ya Feet” from Washington, D.C. His mastering of this style has led him to teach it all over the world, including Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, and even Poland, London, and Brazil. He hopes to continue to create positive outlets for dancers everywhere he goes.
