T.C. McFarland is a National Board Certified Teacher, dedicated mother, grandmother, and self-published author based in the DMV. With strong southern roots, T.C. combines her passion for education with her talent for storytelling, focusing on the social and emotional challenges that shape our lives. Having earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Howard University, followed by graduate studies in Guidance and Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, T.C. is committed to nurturing young minds and addressing the emotional complexities they face.

Her teaching career in Child Growth and Development in Prince George's County, Maryland, reflects her dedication to supporting youth, especially those affected by educational disparities. As an author, T.C. weaves narratives that delve into themes of trauma and resilience, aiming to spark conversations about mental health and emotional well-being. Her debut novel, "Dead Confused," released in September 2023, is followed by her latest work, "Kuriously Krazy," which was published in March 2024. T.C. actively engages in community initiatives, advocating for social equity, and is a proud member of the 40+ Double Dutch Club.
