Jocelyn Cox

Jocelyn E Cox is a dancer, educator, author, wife, and mother. Performance credits include: The Wiz (Ford’s Theatre D.C.), Hairspray (Royal Caribbean International), Chicago (Media Theatre, PA), FAME (tour), and Guys and Dolls (Olney Theatre, MD / Ford’s Theatre D.C.). Teaching experience includes: the dance programs at Howard University, George Mason University, and American University. Choreographic credits include: The John F. Kennedy Center Theater for Young Audiences, International Association of Blacks in Dance, and the Howard University Dance Ensemble. Cox is a recipient of the Prince George’s County Maryland Arts and Humanities Council’s Artist Fellowship Grant for Literary Arts & Dance for her children’s book Jocelyn Learns to Dance.
