Founded in 2011, Washington, D.C.’s Company | E has built a repertoire and reputation that have led to engagements in 40 countries on five continents and six evening-length commissions at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. The company collaborates with international and national artists in dance, music, and performance art through the Diplomatic Missions of the world and the U.S. Department of State, creating evening-length programs from Israel, Spain, Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and many others, and continually seeking out the next generation of cutting-edge artists. Company | E has performed, taught masterclasses, collaborated with local artists, and implemented various international art programs all over the world, often in places where Americans are rarely seen. At home in D.C., the company is committed to high-quality and engaging arts education programs, a commitment that is reflected in Company | E’s school for dance, The Movement Center, and in its in-school dance education programming with D.C.
