CityDance Conservatory
Dedicated to developing the next generation of dance artists and innovators, the CityDance Conservatory prepares students aged seven to 19 for 21st-century careers in dance. Through an intensive training and performance curriculum of classical, contemporary, commercial, and culturally specific dance forms, our students are supported in developing the physical, technical, and artistic skills needed for a collegiate or professional career in dance.
Conservatory dancers achieved remarkable success this past season, garnering awards and accolades at prestigious competitions, including the USA International Ballet Competition and Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP), two of the world’s most competitive ballet competitions. Conservatory graduates have secured scholarships and admission to esteemed dance schools and colleges, including the School of American Ballet, the Royal Ballet School, The Juilliard School, and USC’s Glorya Kaufman School of Dance. Our alumni are now gracing the stages of acclaimed companies worldwide, such as The Royal Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Mark Morris Dance Group, L-E-V, Staatsballett Berlin, Opéra de Lyon Ballet, and Company Wayne McGregor.
